Dear 100 Hour Board,

What do the blind workers at Skilcraft do exactly? A factory floor where machinery is rapidly making brooms, pens, notebooks, etc. must be a dangerous place where you need to watch your hands.

Dear friend,

They operate machinery, just like you would expect. I watched these two videos (one - not SkilCraft, but an employer for Blind workers nonetheless, and two) and from what I can tell, it is likely that the machines are modified to be safer to operate. The factory has taken measures to ensure the safety of its workers. Additionally, the workers are trained for their jobs and work at it for a very long time. As the man in the second video explains, it may take them longer to train for the job, but they are very good at it.
