Dear 100 Hour Board,

What features and ideas would you want incorporated in Board 6.0? What things do you like/dislike about Board 5.0?

--Django Fett

Dear River,

Get rid of that freakin' small font bug. And a decent mobile version would be good.

Dear Django Fett,

A thing where it notifies you when your question has posted would be good.

Dear D.F.,

DEEP LEARNING. I forced a bot to read over 10,000 entries from the 100-Hour Board archives and then asked it to write a question and answer of its own. Here are the results:

Dear 10 seconds bored,

I usually don't write out, but here you are. Can we get into a philosophical state of Nevada? He asked me out and we go to the mutual every time it rains. Halp!! That's everything she told me.

Dear funny meta response reader inside joke,

ASK THEM OUT. These views do not represent BYU or the church but personally I do like a PG-13 rated musical with my bowl of honey nut overpriced textbooks. Can you blame him? Sorry this is over hours.

On the bright side, Other Writer and I are engaged!

Have fun weathering the tower,

But seriously, what about a Board API so I could actually make a bot to generate questions and answers for the Board? That'd be pretty fun! If anyone wants to work on that together, let me know.

Dear millennial entrepreneur

I'd put it in the Cloud and use Blockchains to add it to the Internet of Things.

Dear DF,

First and foremost, there needs to be a good mobile version!

I don't like the way the sidebar menu is set up, but I'm not entirely sure why. I'd like the sub-menus to be more obvious. Also, the current menu design is nearly unusable on my phone.

From a reader's perspective, it looks really bad when the front page is empty. I'm not sure if it's necessary to keep questions up for a week as opposed to 48 hours, but there should always be something there. Also, I'd love to have a link to the first page of the archives from the bottom of the front page, but I don't know if that's doable since the page it links to would change every 24 hours.

That said, for the most part I love the Board's design, and I would hate to see any updates change the fundamental way that it looks or works.

Dear Django,

I think we could use an updated look. That's the comment I get the most from friends/relatives that read. Then again, maybe I'd miss our vintage forum style?

The other thing I think would be nice is some sort of on-website message system so it was easier to interact with the readers directly. I feel like sometimes we're so far apart, and people don't use our Board emails very often. It would help if it was all in one place.

Dear Django Fett,

I think Board 5 is pretty good. Overall, I like the way it looks and works.

I agree with Tally about the small font bug. It would be nice to get the email notifier thingy fixed as well, or else have some other kind of messaging system.

Dear Bounty Hunter,

Board 5.0 is already pretty great in my opinion. I think it would be really cool to be able to look at all the answers from a single nym. For example, you could just go through and read everything by Anne Certainly.

Dear Django Fett,

One more request! I think it would be so cool if the bio page for the retired writers was a more of a "best of" page. For example, show all a combo of their highest upvoted answers and editor's choice answers.
