I remember hearing that the most common response to this question is: "I don't think it will happen in my lifetime, but it will happen in my children's lifetime." Most of the people I've asked have all given that same response. I think people feel like the second coming will be soon because of things going on, but that response shows the attitude of not wanting to deal with everything that comes with the second coming.

I have absolutely zero evidence to back it up, but anecdotally I find it's an interesting observation.

I have absolutely no idea. But I will admit that ever since I was a little girl, I've never liked the idea of growing old, and always thought it would be just grand if the second coming happened when I was in my thirties or forties. That way I'd still be able to actually live life, and it wouldn't be the same as dying young cause I wouldn't be leaving anyone behind. I will neither confirm nor deny that this still sounds attractive to me.
