Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

What is the most efficient way to find out about free meals on or near campus? Is there some blessed website or blog where students can post about upcoming free meals? Or perhaps an underground organization that whispers of free pizza or donuts in the shadows? If so, how do I join?

Dear Hangry,

If in doubt, gravitate to the Wilk. There's generally something going on there with free food.

Other reliable sources include clubs. Find out about when and where clubs are meeting, and a good portion of them will include food.

Dear 3H,

  1. Hang out at the Tanner Building: Most of the general campus events will have pizza, or ice cream or treats. Business school events straight up have full meals. This last month I've gotten flyers for at least 5 events in the business school offering Cafe Rio. The business school has money, so they always get good food.
  2. Download the Handshake App: Handshake is an app that recruiters use to announce recruiting events. Recruiting events always have good food at them, and the app automatically alerts. Heck, you might even get a job out of it too.

Hope this helps!

Peace,

Tipperary
