Dear 100 Hour Board,

Stephanie Smith recorded two EFY songs: Silver Lining (2014) and Miracle (2015). She's apparently an extremely talented musician. I would guess that she's written and performed a lot of songs, by the sound of her music, but those are the only two songs I've found that I can say with certainty are sung by her.

Is she hoping to release more songs?

I don't know anywhere I can find information about her in order to find out, so I'm hopeful that one of you has connections or something. Maybe there's an EFY historian somewhere on campus.

Dear Up&Up,

Stephanie Smith and Stephanie Mabey are the same person! I have this confirmed by a person that produced the EFY albums.

Spotify has her 2007 album Waves under Stephanie Smith, then the two EFY singles you mentioned can only be found with the EFY albums. However, Stephanie Mabey is definitely out there making music still. In fact, "The Zombie Song" got pretty famous. She's also got an EP that released in 2016, a song ("Stop Motion") and a feature on a song called "Erase You" that released in 2018. Keep your eye out for future releases.

Also, fun fact, she's the composer for David Archuleta's "Glorious".

She went to Provo's Goth Prom last week, played The Buzzards and Bees, and is pretty active on Instagram (@stephaniemabey)

Go forth and listen!
