I guess the atmosphere that I've tried to create here is that I'm a friend first and a boss second, and probably an entertainer third. -Michael Scott, The Office

Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,
Is there something wrong with the fact that I am a month away from getting married and not really nervous or overly excited? I feel like I know what I'm doing is right but people are always asking me if I'm excited, and I get blank stares when I respond "sorta." And no one seems to believe me when I say I'm not nervous. Is this common in LDS culture where revelation plays a major key in mate selection?

A: Dear Bern,
Naw, it's okay. I was sorta excited and all, but after a while I was just like, "Let's get this over with." I love my wife, but I don't necessarily have to go into rapturous wonder every time I think about marrying her. I wasn't nervous my wedding day either, but I'm a guy. As far as I'm concerned, it did the planning by itself. :-) To each her own. Enjoy your day; it'll be great.
