Dear 100 Hour Board,

The facet in my bathtub constantly drips...every 2-3 seconds, there is another drip. I don't have a landlord or anyone to call. Is there a way to fix this without calling a plumber?

A: Dear water-waster-

Unless you are a skilled plumber, or you know someone that is, you're out of luck. I know what to do, but I lack sufficient experience to feel comfortable explaining (or doing) the procedure. Essentially, one of the valves controlled by the faucet taps is no longer totally sealed. Thus, a small amount of water steadily seeps through. If it bothers you or gives you a high water bill, call around and get some estimates from various plumbers. This sounds like a relatively simple job.
