Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

Where is all the men in the Lds church? I feel like I see a lot of smart beautiful women in the age 25-30 who are single. I heard that the stats for women to men is 2:1 but I feel like it is closer to 4:1. What's wrong with the men. I feel that as a women any decision I do is a loose loose. I marry outside the church I loose. I look at the limited choices I have in the church I loose. I look back in my younger years when there were more options but I wasn't ready to be married-I loose.

I feel like we always talk about the number of men leaving the church but I feel like the amount of women leaving will increase as well. I just feel like the church gives us standards and ways to live while at the same time not acknowledging that not everyones life will line up perfectly to how they think it should go and then you get judged for making the "wrong" decision.

Dear MNH,

Try not to give up hope, I think the odds are you will meet more men that have the characteristics you are looking for in the near future. I don't know the statistics about how many men and women are active in the Church, but I would imagine there are many men asking where the women are. In fact, I know several men who would fit in that category.

I know that's not a super comforting answer, but I think it's true.
