Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

Re: Board Question #93234, I've heard again in the news about mRNA-1273 that it can last 30 days at only -20 C and is 94.5% effective (source) according to them, at least.

Do you think this one has better chances of being the one now?

A:

Dear Vax,

Thank goodness for a light at the end of the tunnel. It seems to me that these vaccines are going to WORK! We still need to find out exactly how long-lasting they are, how many boosters might be necessary, etc., and we also have to overcome the fact that somewhere over 30% of people say they won't get the vaccine when it becomes available to them. We need more than 70% of the population to get it in order for us to have herd immunity, so the second crisis we're fighting is misinformation and conspiracy theories.

Hooray for Pfizer and Moderna!
