Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,
Where is President Charles Didier from?
- faithful conference watcher

A: Dear Fideles,

Elder Didier was born in Belgium, October 5, 1935, and joined the Church in 1957. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Liege in Belgium and served as an officer in the Belgian Air Force Reserve. Prior to his call as a General Authority, he was employed by the Church as European manager for translation and distribution in Frankfurt, Germany. Elder Didier has been a General Authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since October 3, 1975, when he was called to be a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy. He presently serves as a member of the Presidency of the Seventy. He previously held supervisory positions in Europe, South America, and North America; has been a regional representative; and was president of the France/Switzerland Mission. So lots of places is the short answer I guess, or maybe just Belgium.
