Dear 100 Hour Board,
On behalf of all of the anthropologists of BYU, I would like to apologize for the remarks of "Brother Brigham" regarding the Joseph Smith facsimiles. Yes, there are similarities between the facsimiles and portions of the Egyptian Book of the Dead, but this is nothing conclusive.

Anthropology is often seen as the godless stepchild of the social sciences. Sometimes, it's easy to see why this perception exists.

I appreciate the responses of the board writers, this is a manner of faith.
