Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board,

Where would you take a broken digital camera to be fixed? My digital camera can still take pictures, but I believe the lens and the digital viewer aren't connected or something like that. (All pictures taken are just pure black, and when the problem started, if you hit against the palm of your hand, it would seem to realign itself for a few minutes)
Also, is there any estimation on how much it would cost?

- No warranty or insurance

A: Dear No ~

Generally speaking, it's going to cost more to repair than replace. There's a camera repair store in Provo called Kews Camera Service who will give an estimate. Other than that, low end amateur cameras are better off replaced. If you have a high-end D-SLR ("If they don't know what that is, they don't have it." - F-Stop) then you'll want to get the estimate and probably repair it.

PS - You can find Kews at 211 W. 500 N. or call them at 801-373-5873.
