Whenever he thought about it, he felt terrible. And so, at last, he came to a fateful decision. He decided not to think about it. ~John-Roger and Peter McWilliams

Q:

Dear 100 Hour Board Writers,

Would you like to be famous one day? Why or why not?

- lofty gerbera

A:

Dear Gerbera,

Yes, in that I admire a lot of famous people and I think that being famous would help me meet them (plus, I could maybe use some influence and get myself on Sesame Street, which would be amazing), but No, in that I don't want to be the object of tons of people's attention.

-Frère Rubik

A:

Dear you,

No. Sure, it would be really cool to be dressed up in character's wardrobes on movie sets and go to big parties in fancy dresses, but I'd hate having a camera in my face when trying to live my normal life. I'd much rather go to a party in my best dress where people are friends and be able to go grocery shopping the next morning in sweatpants.

-Squirrel

A:

Dear Doctor,

Definitely not. I wouldn't mind being pseudonymously famous though.

A:

Dear Gerbil,

I wouldn't want to be famous, but I would like to do the things that tend to make someone famous. I love to act and I love to sing, though I probably lack sufficient talent to be really successful. I think it would be really fun to do those things professionally, but I would hate the lack of anonymity in my life. I'm sure it would be nice for a few months, but I'm willing to bet everyone gets sick of being under public scrutiny all the time.

Love,

Luciana

A:

Dear Lofty Gerber Baby,

No. Nope. Never.

I, too, want to change the world. But keeping up my appearances after the fact? Heck, no! I don't want to be pressured by expectations. Lone forever!

All I want is to be a really, really cool person. That's all.

Cheers,

The Lone Musketeer

A:

Dear Kvothe,

The fame of movie stars? No. The fame of brilliant writers or scholars? Yes. The fame of people in power? Absolutely.

I want to be famous; I want to be known the world over for changing it. Will I be happy if I don't get this? Certainly. Will I be satisfied? We shall see.

Sincerely,
The Soulful Ginger

A:

Dear Daisy,

Yes, because I secretly love attention. Oh, and I think I could use my influence to do some good in the world.
