Dear 100 Hour Board,
What is your Ilvermorny house??
I am a fiercely independent Pukwudgie. Or at least that is what the test says.
Really though, I'm a Slytherin, so nothing else really matters.
The Soulful Ginger
I was sorted into Horned Serpent. I haven't gotten around to reading the origin story of the Ilvermorny houses, but from the brief description on Pottermore, it makes sense.
Also, to answer a question you didn't ask, I still consider myself a Ravenclaw, despite Pottermore doing the same thing to me as it did to Frère and Luciana.
I'm a Thunderbird too! Sounds pretty nifty. "Soul of a witch or wizard" and favoring adventurers and all of that. When I read the history of how Ilvermony was founded, it sounded more like Harry Potter fanfiction instead of actual canon, but I think I'm more okay with it as the day has gone on.
I should also probably use this opportunity to announce that I've apparently switched Hogwarts houses. Before my mission, when Pottermore was first released, I was sorted into Ravenclaw. Since then, the site has changed a lot, and it seems that they re-did their sorting algorithm, because when I took the quiz a few weeks ago I was placed in Hufflepuff. That, or my mission changed my personality significantly. I guess either is possible.
I ended up in Thunderbird, which was a surprise. The soul part actually makes sense to me, but I'm like the least adventurous person you could possibly imagine.
I would also like to share the same announcement as Frère, because we figured out that we're basically the same person. When I was first sorted on Pottermore I was in Ravenclaw, which worked for me. I retook the test yesterday and ended up in Hufflepuff, which is an intriguing personality development.
I got Thunderbird! I'm pretty pleased with that.
I think it's interesting that Frère and Luciana are both Ravenclaws turned Hufflepuff. When I took the quiz years ago on the Pottermore beta I was a Ravenclaw, but I have a strong suspicion that if I retook the test now I too would be a Hufflepuff. Hufflepuffs are awesome, and either way I have a lot of Hufflepuff in me.
I'm a Pukwudgie. I'm interested in reading more about North American wizardry and how it differs from British wizardry. I like the fact that it's different but I want more story now, like what does a good Pukwudgie do? Are any of them famous? Do teachers like Pukwudgies more than Wampuses? Do American wizards call Quidditch something different? Do they have a different sport at Ilvermorny? I want to know!
I'm a Pukwudgie, same as my brother. The brief description seems to make sense for me. I'm also a Gryffindor according to Pottermore, but I've always identified more with Ravenclaw so I don't know for that one, maybe it's because I'm not British.
Horned serpent! Unlike several of the poor, re-sorted souls above, I have always been and probably will always be a Ravenclaw, and I suspect that my affinity for Horned Serpent will be similarly constant.
I'm really surprised and pleased that I got sorted into Thunderbird house. I don't really know what it means to be a Thunderbird, but I'm hopeful that we'll all find out more about Ilvermorny houses when Fantastic Beasts comes out! I think until then I'll identify more with my Hogwarts house: Hufflepuff.
I was about to ask this question! I got sorted into Thunderbird (high fives with you, Squirrel, Kirito, Luciana, and Frère). I also chose to retake all my other quizzes after the system change and was quite relieved to be sorted back into Gryffindor. I used to be a hat stall with Ravenclaw, though. And I didn't get my holly/phoenix feather wand again.
I am no longer the Chosen One.
