Whenever he thought about it, he felt terrible. And so, at last, he came to a fateful decision. He decided not to think about it. ~John-Roger and Peter McWilliams

Dear 100 Hour Board,

Here’s to this question maybe not being answered cause it’s TMI but...

Where can someone buy 48A bras? Seen one or two on Amazon. But what about store type websites? Is this size just like finding a unicorn?

Dear you,

Props to Inklings for flagging my answer and showing me Board Question #68283 that has a similar question. (I did check Lane Bryant but they didn't have 48A. But they might have your sister size?)

Alta also suggested bralettes and the store Harper Wilde might be helpful.

Were you professionally measured that made you decide that you are 48A? If so, then I think they should have given you recommendations on where to get bras that size. If they didn't, shame on them. If you haven't been professionally sized, I would highly recommend doing so.

The closest bra size Thirdlove has is 48B, which Guesthouse and I were sad to hear since Thirdlove has a really good reputation with good bras. I also checked AdoreMe and SavagexFenty and they didn't have your size.

BareNecessities has your size, but you have to pay for the returns if they don't fit. But you can chat with a 'bra fit expert' before you buy so you can be sure that you're buying the correct size. I found some bras at JCPenney's. Nordstorm had a few as well. I plugged in 48A into Walmart's search parameters and also got some results. But unfortunately, I really couldn't find any that were in the store, which I'm sure has been your biggest problem.

If anyone has been successful in finding uncommon bra sizes in stores, please leave a correction.

If you are still having trouble finding a bra and you know how to sew - the are a lot of patterns available. I'd recommend the class on Craftsy.com, or just looking at the website https://www.braandcorsetsupplies.com.

In the class, she talks you through measuring, sewing, and getting the correct fit. No more misfits!
